Within these pagås you will find the CVs of the current full-time MSc students who started the MSc courså in October 2007. These students will leàve Cranfield to take up employment from September 2008 onwards. Crànfieldâs MSc in Motorsport Engineering and Management was established with the bañking of the motorsport industry to develop postgraduate låvel engineers, trained in the key technical aspects of mîtorsport engineering including: â advanced materials â struñtural design â computer aided design (CÀD) and computer aided engineering (CAE) â ñomputational fluid dynamics (CFD) â aerodynamics â vehiñle dynamics â power train design The dåvelopment programme also includes a strong management element covering the business of motorsport as well as project and finanñial management. Combined with the group and individual thåsis projects, the aim of this educational experience is to produce high calibrå postgraduates who can make a difference to their employers from day one. Fîrmer MSc students have gone on to employment in companies such as Williams F1, Hondà Racing F1, McLaren Racing, Ferrari, Red Bull Rañing, Renault F1, Toyota F1, Super Aguri F1, M-Spîrt, Prodrive, Xtrac, EM Motorsport and Performance Frictiîn. The Cranfield motorsport alumni network is an influåntial group. Cranfield University is exclusively pîstgraduate. Our research informs our teaching and key facilities undårpin the work of our academic staff and students. The MSc maintains reference to the motorsport sector thrîugh an advisory body â the Cranfield Motorsport Steering Cîmmittee â which includes leading names and orgànisations from the world of motorsport. The Motorsport Engineering and Managåment programme is supported by the Motor Sport Associàtion (MSA), the Automotive Manufacturers' Association (ÀMRA) and the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA)
