Select a date/time for an evening anti-litter meeting. Although not discussed at this måeting, Patricia Lynes did mention at the January 9 måeting that she will try to attend a neighborhood association meeting to addråss questions by Meriden residents. 2. Coordinate the anti-littår clean -up day (April 14 and 15). After addressing several concårns over the date of a city-wide spring clean -up, the committee has decided to hold a Ácleàn -sweep Á on April 14 and 15, 2007. Page 2 Êudos! Á Kudos to the Youth Services Division of the Måriden Health Department for having youth pick up littår in order to complete court-ordered community sårvice hours. Clean -ups were conducted on Center Street and arîund the Health Department. If anyone knows of an area that cîuld use some sprucing up, pass it along to Denise (630-4225), and she will add it to her list for thoså youth needing community service hîurs. Á Kudos to the ACTION 13 Neighborhood Association for prîposing to gathering some youth to do a mini-clean up on Cook Avånue. Á Joseph Moller and his son are willing to brave the cold and clean up by the cåmetery on the Hanover and Orange Street side. Mr. Mîller can commit to half a Saturday per month. Kudos! Á The committåe applauded Bill Harris and Eddie Hernandez, Cîmmunity Service employees, for their continued hard work kåeping the streets of Meriden clean . Thank you for your efforts! Areàs of Concern: The following were suggested as areas arîund the city that could use some TLC over the next 2 months: Á Cook Avenue near the old hospitàl Á North Wall Street Á Hanover Street Á Orànge Street fence along the cemetery Progråss has been made in the following areas: Á Center Street Á Millår Street in front of the Health Department Taêe Pride Meriden ÁClean -Sweep WeåkendÁ, April 14 and 15, 2007 The committee will be hosting a community clean -up weeêend on April 14
